Cleaning: Rinse the arm with fresh water to remove the salt on it, especially the exposed parts of the hydraulic rod, to prevent corrosion. 

Apply grease: Add sufficient grease to all moving joints (rotary bearings, sliding surfaces of the telescopic arm, hook pulley system). 

Positioning: Retract the telescopic arm to its shortest position, raise the hook to its highest point, and reduce the impact of wind pressure on the entire machine. Cut off the main power switch.
