When construction professionals descend on Bauma 2025 in Munich, Germany, in April next year, the world’s largest construction equipment show will have roared back to full strength.
Message from Messe Munich, the trade fair organiser responsible for Bauma.
Event director Nicole Schmitt told Construction Briefing that she expects Bauma to be comparable in size to the 2019 event. That year was a record year for Bauma, with 620,000 visitors from more than 200 countries.
This month, some of the major exhibitors have started ground engineering for their outdoor display area, and BOB-LIFT is also working hard for the show, continuing to prepare for the show and innovate its products, looking forward to a better face to a wider customer base.
Taking into account the carbon footprint of the show itself, Bauma 2025 will once again offer public transport within the price range.
However, the show is still six months away, and Schmidt expects more announcements about the format.
"To address challenges such as climate protection and sustainability, you have to get the whole industry talking to each other and forming new solutions," she concludes. .
"We're also trying to engage politicians, for example, so they can talk to our exhibitors and visitors and really understand their needs, so we can make sure our Bridges don't fall down." Or, if you want to build a construction site on a highway and you want to operate electric machines, you need electricity to charge them. So all these challenges can be discussed in a constructive way at Bauma."
With six months to go until the April 7-13 show, several major construction equipment manufacturers are still making plans for their Bauma stands.
One company said it plans to focus on digitization and sustainability, showcasing innovations that deliver higher productivity and lower emissions on construction sites. "Bauma gives us the perfect stage to connect with our customers and partners," said BOB-LIFT CEO Yonlanda. . "It's not just about showcasing products, it's about bringing our motto 'We make it work' to life by showing how our solutions shape the future of architecture."
